Marcus Aurelius Probus (August 19, 232 \u2013 September or October 282), better known in Roman historiography as Probus, was a Roman emperor who reigned from 276 to 282.<\/p>\n
Probus was originally from the region of Pannonia and is known to have served in the Roman army under Valerian, Gallienus, Claudius II, and Aurelian.
