PAZ ALVAREZ: Self-taught artist born in Santander, she took courses in ceramics, combustion and special techniques. Throughout her professional career, she has participated in different individual exhibitions in Madrid and has received various awards, among which we highlight the first “Unique Piece” award from the Community of Madrid in 2001.

She was always drawn to nature, and her passion for the natural world and animals runs through all of her work. Animals loved in the Spanish tradition, such as cows and bulls, stand out due to the very personal and affectionate interpretation of it.

During the 80s and 90s she continued her training in ceramics in various specialties, received awards and held individual and group exhibitions in various parts of Spain.

All the pieces of it are made in refractory clay and fired at 1260º in a gas oven, they are modeled and decorated by hand one by one. Thanks to her modeling skills, her pieces seem to come to life.
